Cat's Out-O-Tha Bag

I really like the title of my blog: Beach Baby Bedlam.

Especially that last word.

bed-lam (noun): a scene or state of wild uproar and confusion

It seems that title was just a precursor of what's to come. Bedlam with simply 2 small children 3 and under?

Utter silliness.

Bedlam with 4 children ages 4 and under?

BINGO.

(Newsflash: We're preggers!)

(Oh yeah, DOUBLE NEWSFLASH: It's TWINS!)

I'll try to keep the cuss words from leaking out of my brain onto the keyboard.

Still in shock! I guess God was listening to our idle chatter and wanted to present the challenge. At least He knows who can handle it....It's going to be a wild ride. I want the front seat.

I second Deb's comment -- still in shock, but definitely SO, SO excited and CAN'T WAIT to be Auntie Mewwitt to two more Akins babies! Holy cow. You're having twins! You're blessed, girl; God is good, and knows that you and C are amazing parents who will bless the socks off those kiddos. Count on these two hands to help rock them and do whatever is needed.

I'm so excited! I told Carter that I wish I could be your nanny. If only I was RICH & didn't have to work!

So I guess since it's twins, Kara and I won't have to do the awkward 'baby hand-off' so we can each hold the baby. Now we can each hold one at the same time! --pw

Oh...and I was just reminded of this.

Psalm 127:4-5 says,"Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them."

Here's to a full quiver!!!
